For as long as I can remember, I have had a deep love for horses. That love grew exponentially when I began photographing the Nokota horses for the Nokota Horse Conservancy and the Nokota Preserve, Chester Springs. There truly is nothing as beautiful as a wild and free horse living amongst the herd and communicating with each other through an ancient language that belongs only to them.

Whether you prefer to be included or focus solely on the horse, your equine session can be personalized around your needs.
I understand that horses are not always as cooperative as people, so sometimes the session will run over and that is ok! I have been known to sit out in horse pastures for hours at a time to capture the perfect shot!

Once you fill out the contact form, I’ll follow up with details about the session and request a moment to chat about your vision.

Plan all the details
Together, we'll create a plan for the pictures you want to capture, including a visit to the farm to scout location and lighting options.

Enjoy the day!
On the day itself, we will meet and begin photographing them in their natural element. I'll stick around until we bring your vision to life!

Horse Photography Session Details
Each Equine Session includes a one-hour, outdoor session for your horse and up to five people, if desired. There is an additional fee to add more people. If you want to include a larger group or more horses, let’s chat and discuss your options!
Equine photography sessions are $450. An initial retainer of $250 is due when the contract is signed and the final payment will be due 7 days before your scheduled session.
Absolutely! Before your session, I'll visit the farm to scout the location and lighting options. We'll also discuss any other important details to make your session special and meaningful.
Your digital gallery of completed images will be emailed to you within 3 weeks of your session and it will remain open for 14 days. Inside your gallery you may purchase prints and products in a variety of different formats. You will also have the option to purchase your completed digital files.
Yes! In addition to your digital gallery, you will also receive a link to view the sample album I create for you! Albums are a perfect way to preserve your session images and you will have the option to purchase albums as well.
If you spend at least $500 through the purchase of prints, products, digital files or albums, you will receive an 8-inch 10-spread linen album as my gift to you!
My Approach
Horse-lovers have a special bond with their horses and this session is designed to capture and preserve it!
Some prefer to have a heavier focus on their horse alone, others prefer to be included in their images together. Whichever you choose, I love to capture these majestic animals and I love to photograph them with their owners even more!
