The Legacy Session is not your typical Family Session. It's a beautifully detailed and connected experience that will leave you and your family with tangible memories that will last lifetimes. Each Legacy Session is created individually to document the specific story or season of life.

Legacy Sessions are all about documenting an important season of life through pictures and voice. Here are just a few examples:
celebrating a new birth or child in the family
to honor an anniversary or new marriage
detailed record of handing down a family heirloom
to preserve the legacy of an aging family member
The Process

Book your session and define the focus
While each Legacy Session is unique, they each begin with a story and a handwritten letter that details the focus of the session. From there you will gather any old family photos, heirloom pieces, letters, or items you want included in your session.

A series of sessions to capture all the beautiful details
Your Legacy Session will include at least three different meetings or “work” days where we will take the pictures that coincide with your story, record the audio of your letter and photograph the flat-lay images.

Final touches and the big reveal of your story!
Once all the necessary photo work is completed, I will create each of the different parts of your session. Then we will schedule your Reveal! We will gather together and I will present your online digital gallery, your album and your video story!
Life is delicate and precious and each of us are meant to be cherished and remembered.
What will your legacy be?
Legacy Photography Session Details
Your Legacy Session includes your completed images in a private, digital online gallery where you may purchase prints and products and your digital files, if you wish to. You will receive a 10-spread Heirloom album (with the option to upgrade and/or add additional spreads) and your own beautiful video book to complete this incredible session!
Legacy Sessions start at $1499. An initial retainer of $500 is due when the contract is signed and the final payment will be due 7 days before your first scheduled session.
Absolutely! Think of this as a collaboration. We will have a series of meetings to plan and prepare for your Legacy Session. These meetings are vital to the success of your session experience.
Your digital gallery, Heirloom sample album, and video book will be ready about 5 weeks after all pictures have been taken and audio recorded. I will meet with you in person for a very special Reveal Session with your nearest and dearest.
After the Reveal Session, you'll receive your complete online gallery through email, where you can order additional prints, albums, etc.
Yes! As part of the Legacy Session, you'll automatically receive an 8-inch Heirloom album with 10 spreads and a video book. You'll also have the option to upgrade your album or add additional spreads if you wish.
