What an amazing evening I shared with the Volinski Family! Late last year I donated a Family Session as a silent auction item for a coastal non-profit. The Volinki family bid on that session…and won!
They booked their session on the island and chose a spring date, before the tourist season begins. The Volinski Family traveled down from a coastal town, almost two hours away. They had not previously visited our island and asked me to select a location. Of course I selected my favorite area! The session started off a bit cloudy but halfway through, the sun poked through the clouds and gave us the most magnificent evening light!
In addition to mom, dad, and daughter, they brought along their foreign exchange student from Spain and their daughter’s boyfriend. Toward the end of the session, I convinced them to join in for some photos.
The sun set and as we finished up, we were surprised with a “Prom-Posal!” Thankfully I had my camera ready and captured a few shots of him asking and her saying yes! It was the perfect ending to a perfect session!
