Senior Prom. It’s one of those “life moments” that most of us always remember…if we went! I did not attend my senior prom all those years ago, but I do remember my girlfriends dress shopping and planning out their special nights.
So when I was asked to photograph this cute couple on the island before their big night, I of course said yes and jumped at the opportunity to photograph them all dressed up and looking amazing!
These two spend their days on the beach when they aren’t in class, so it only made sense to shoot their session in a place that means so much to them! Timing their session was a bit tricky with the sun. They needed to shoot early enough to join friends and start their special night. The oceanfront doesn’t offer any open shade, so we decided to just go for it and shoot the session in full sun!
The results made my heart swoon! Between the colors of their outfits, her beautiful hair and makeup, the crisp white flowers, the wind and the ocean, and that golden bright sun…it all came together and created something truly magical!
